Mamuka Alaphishvili was born on January 10th, 1975 in Batumi.
In 1997 he finished Vano Sarajishvili State Conservatory majoring in French horn (class of Boris Mukeria).
History of Symphonic Orchestra
The idea of establishing the Ajara Symphony Orchestra was born in 1977, which was further adopted by Eduard Aznaurian, a teacher and conductor of the Orchestra Department of Zakaria Paliashvili Music School.

Tengis Shamiladze was born in Batumi on 30 August 1948.
In 1966 he finished the secondary school and Batumi Zakaria Paliashvili Music School, Section of Pianoforte.

In 1999 the children’s musical studio Changi affiliated to the Adjara Television, became a basis for establishing State Opera and Ballet Theatre for Children (the Government Decree No.158) comprising of up to 120 gifted children.
