Lela Dolidze

 Creative biography

In 1980 – 1989 years she studied of Batumi secondary school №6.
In 1989 year studied at Zakaria Paliashvili music school – specializing in choir conducting.
In 2000 – 2005 years studied at Batumi Zakaria paliashvili State Conservatory – specializing in academic choir conducting. (Teacher: Ketevan Manelishvili).
In 1998 – 2004 years she worked in the state Chapel of Ajara - as an artist- singer of choir.
Since 2004 year she has been working at Batumi State Musial Center as a chapel choirmaster.
In 2007-2008 years was a director of operatic choir direction of Conservatory of Shota Rustaveli State University .
Since 2008 year she has been working as a director of music faculty of choir at Batumi State Art University.
Since 2007 year she is a soloist of Batumi Musical Centre Vocal Quartet ,,Nota”.
At 2008 year Quartet ,,Nota” was awarded with a diploma of Bulgaria international festival ,,МОРЕ И СПОМЕНИ'' - The best highly artistic performance and was invited to the following competition.
At 2009 year Quartet ,,Nota” took the first place and was named as prizewinner (laureate).
At 2010 year Quartet ,,Nota” was invited to Istanbul at the international festival, where was awarded with a diploma and a valuable gifts.
In 2011 year Quartet ,,Nota” was invited in Bulgaria, now in a town of Korolov, at the festival of ,,Roses”, also took part in the national celebrations ,,КОПРИВЩИЦА 2011”, where was awarded with a diploma and valuable gifts. 

Lela Dolidze, as a chapel choirmaster leads active creative works. Her concert program is distinguished by its diversity and full of Georgian and Foreign composers’ works. She is actively involved in governmental activities of the chapel, and strives to represent chapel as a highly professional staff. 

In 2011 and 2012 years at choir music festival of Tbilisi, Batumi State Musical Centre Chapel (choirmaster L.Dolidze) was Represented with various program, where has received high appreciation and honorary diploma. 

L. Dolidze works on the chapel repertoire and at the same time is actively involved to prepare opera performances of Batumi Musical Centre ( Viktor Dolidze - opera ,,Keto and Kote”, Gaetano Donizetti – opera ,,Lucia di Lammermoor”; Giuseppe Verdi – opera ,,Rigoletto”and other). 

Now she is working to increase the repertoire of chapel and enhance its artistic level and prepare the staff to take part in the choral festival of Tbilisi 2013.
